Candy run…

The kids all got new flip flops or sandals and they all wanted to show them to grandma and grandpa Phillips on Easter. Alec had his on and was excited to show them off. A few minutes later I see him with his boots on and ask him why. He looked at me and said… I can’t run in them and I’m going to have to run after the candy in the Easter egg hunt!
Gotta love how they think!

Just Nice!
Yeah… we broke down. Our Ford has had enough! We decided with the trips we have this year we should upgrade our style! I’ll put some pictures online. 2009 Toyota Sienna 42k miles and it is NICE!

Exercise? Who me?

So I put forth the effort and financial means to hire a personal trainer in order to start losing some weight. He assured me that he would go easy the first week just “so he wouldn’t scare off new clients.” Yeah well… SCARED! After 1/2 the planned exercises I STOPPED! I couldn’t breath. I couldn’t stand. I was on the verge of blacking out. Twenty minutes later I threw up everything all over the the trainers desk and floor throughout the gym. Sweet huh? Yay for exercise!?

I think that Wendy and I are really lucky. Our kids love books. We think it is because we both love reading books and they have taken after us; however, it is reassuring that we have been able to raise kids that love reading. They love going to the library, they love reading time, and they have shown they love
